Shilpa has done her post graduate diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from Symbiosis, Pune. She has 25 years of experience, working across Financial Services, Banking, Telecom, Microfinance and the Development Sector. She has worked extensively in Leadership Development, Coaching, Talent Assessment and Management and strengthening HR systems and processes across these sectors.
Shilpa started her career with eServe (erstwhile Citigroup and Citibank company), in a line role, handing banking operations, customer service and training and worked with them for 5 years. Shilpa then moved to CoCoon Consulting, a niche firm that designs and delivers strategic talent-related solutions in India and the region. At CoCoon, she was involved in project design and implementation, leadership development design and facilitation, talent assessments, design of HR systems and processes, diagnostics/audits, skills/competency framework design, and project and account management. She worked closely with organizations to help them grow and scale their people practices in alignment with their strategic growth plans.
With 14 years in the corporate consulting space, Shilpa moved to Phicus in 2014. Shilpa oversees the organization’s overall functioning, with a specific focus on capacity building solutions for NGOs. She has worked with several NGOs and their leaders in evaluating and helping them re-craft their vision, strategy and operating plans. Shilpa has led the design and execution of Phicus’s flagship leadership accelerator program, Aritra, in partnership with IIMB and Dr. Reddy’s Foundation. She is also a coach to a few of the Aritra leaders, across the 2 batches of the program. Along with the other founders of the organization, Shilpa shoulders the responsibility of growing Phicus as an organization, across its multiple practices.
In her free time, Shilpa likes to listen to music and sing, enjoys riding bikes and thoroughly enjoys cooking!
